The Anatolian Shepherd Dog is an extremely large, intelligent, independent, calm, loyal, protective, highly territorial livestock guardian dog. That is responsive to its master, but reserved to strangers. Like the Akita, this breed needs to be socialized, properly trained, confined, and restrained as a young puppy. The Anatolian is also a breed that should not be added to the household casually.

Prowler is my “reincarnated monk”. He is very laid back to put it mildly. He has not met an animal, or insect for that matter, that he doesn’t get along with! Everything becomes his “baby” & he protects it. He is a part time livestock guardian dog with the Boer goats. Finished 2010 ranked #13 in all breed & breed (Canine Chronicle System & Show Sight System), Multiple BOB winner.

Rogan is the son of GCh, Ch Sahmi X GCh, Ch Zivah. He is virtually the carbon copy of his father, which has got him called Sahmi more than a couple of times now. Rogan has earned the nick name “wreck it Rogan”. He by far (so far) is my most destructive dog. He is extremely smart & is always busy. He is a part time guardian with Boer goats, Pekin ducks, & chickens. We look forward to a great future with this boy.
